The Information Technology movement is one of the key drivers in helping India leapfrog to the global center stage as an emerging superpower. With changing times, Computer literacy has moved away from simply knowing how to work with computers to getting empowered to ‘Connect, Share and Express' using social media tools.
NIIT on 2nd December, Its Founder’s Day, began a nationwide movement – ‘Click India Click’ to impart Internet and Social Media skills to everyone.
In the past NIIT through its nationwide movements ‘World Computer Literacy Day’ has already encouraged Indians to exchange technology ignorance with the light of computer knowledge. Over 10 Million Indians have participated in this mission of bringing technology to all.
A significant momentum has been created and this year we are looking forward to sustaining this with added energies and intensive programs. We would promote this initiative in specific geographies to bring about the much needed Social Media revolution in India.
